Senior Biomaterial Engineer
A Senior Engineer is required to support Aran Biomedical’s world-class Biomaterial Design & Development team through a phase of rapid expansion and growth due to new business activities. This position will report to a Program Manager and will be responsible for leading projects in the development and design of medical devices and polymer-based soft tissue implants for the Vascular, Orthopaedic and General Surgery markets. The successful candidate should hold an Honours Degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Polymer Engineering, with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
Aran Biomedical is currently looking for a number of manufacturing engineers to support existing and future implant-medical-device manufacturing lines and systems, daily cleanroom operations and driving a lean, KPI-driven and continuous improvement culture across the department. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
Biomaterial’s NPI Engineer
A Biomaterials NPI Engineer is required to support Aran Biomedical’s world-class Biomaterial Design & Development team through a phase of rapid expansion and growth due to new business activities driving several new product introductions and associated transfer to manufacturing actions.
Process Technician (Coverings and Coatings)
Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidate shall support the Research & Development/Design Services area of Aran Biomedical working on the design and development of innovative vascular-devices-based new-product concepts – using both Biostable and Biodegradable polymer-based materials.
The position requires an experienced and proven candidate with a background in production supervision within a GMP regulated medical devices industry. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in managing teams within an ISO-8 (or higher) clean environment. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to assigned associates and will also liaise heavily on a routine basis with cross functional support functions which can encompass R&D, manufacturing-engineering, maintenance, EH&S, quality-engineering and supply-chain functions
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
The position requires an experienced and proven candidate with a background in Quality and Regulatory control of medical devices. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to maintain high quality/ performance standards across the company. Reporting to the director of QA/RA, the position will be challenging and will require the ability to work autonomously.
QC Inspector Level II
The position requires an experienced, highly motivated person with a background in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.Previous Experience withing a GMP environment is necessary. Candidate must have at least 3 years experience in the Medical Device Industry within a Quality role.
Biomaterials R&D Engineer
Reporting to a Program Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Device Development Process. The role will require a hands-on approach involving design, prototyping and development of novel biomaterial-based devices for our clients in the vascular implant sector. The range of projects that the role will support will be diverse and present an opportunity to acquire significant skills in the development of Biomaterial based Medical Devices.
This position will involve working closely with Engineering teams working on Design Services and R&D projects on site by providing technical support to prototyping and research activities. The position will be diverse, rewarding and present an opportunity to acquire significant skills in the development of Biomaterial coatings. The successful candidate will be expected to implement and maintain high-quality standards across all Aran Biomedical products and services.
We are currently looking for a number of product builders to assist in general operations. Prior medical device assembly and cleanroom experience an advantage.
